PRINC Elevates Princ Suvarnabhumi Hospital to World-Class HIMSS Stage 7 Standard, Reinforcing its HealthTech Vision

Bangkok, Thailand – January 31, 2024 – Krittavith Lertutsahakul, (M.D.) Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Director, Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), announced the success of Princ Suvarnabhumi Hospital, the flagship hospital of Principal Healthcare, in developing its hospital information technology to achieve HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 7 certification, the highest level, from HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society). HIMSS is a global organization that sets standards for hospital information technology. The certification process involves a rigorous assessment of the hospital's IT systems and their impact on patient care, quality, and safety.

The HIMSS Stage 7 standard is the highest level of hospital information technology certification. It is awarded by HIMSS Analytics, a division of HIMSS, which is the global authority on healthcare information and management systems. In late 2023, Princ Suvarnabhumi Hospital also received the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, another world-renowned standard for healthcare quality. Currently, Princ Suvarnabhumi Hospital has over 200 medical professionals and more than 20 specialized centers and clinics. It offers services for complex diseases, including heart and vascular diseases, cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization, brain diseases, cancer, and bone and joint diseases. The hospital is committed to continuous improvement of its standards and quality of care. It is also a model hospital for waste management with a Zero Waste to Landfill policy and a goal of achieving NET ZERO by 2049.

SET joins hands with partners to launch the 4th year of Care the Whale: Zero Waste Station, extending waste sorting to multi-layer plastic

BANGKOK, April 17, 2024 – The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), in collaboration with Wat Chak Daeng, Saha Pathanapibul pcl (SPC), Osotspa pcl (OSP), and Principal Capital pcl (PRINC), has unwaveringly promoted environmental sustainability and enhanced quality of life for community dwellers in Khung Bang Kachao, Samut Prakan province through the “Care the Whale: the Zero Waste Station - Khung Bang Kachao” project held for the fourth consecutive year. The initiative is aimed to change behavior of people in the community to segregate waste at source. The waste separation effort this year will be extended to recyclable multi-layer plastic which is prolific and causes environmental problems. The project targets over 40 percent year-on-year increase in waste sent by the community for the separation process in 2024.

PRINC performs well in Q4. Revenue grows 12.6%, totaling 5,640 million baht in 2023. Number of patients - bed occupancy rate soared. In 2024, moving forward with hospital expansion, elderly care business and related medical businesses.

Principal Capital PCL. (PRINC), a company that operates private hospitals and healthcare businesses under the name Principal Healthcare, reported its Q4 2023 results with a total revenue of THB 1,523 million, an increase of 12.6% year-over-year (YoY). This brings the total revenue for the full year of 2023 to THB 5,640 million. Excluding COVID-19 related revenue, revenue for 2023 grew by 36.1%, driven by growth across all hospitals in the group. Currently, there are a total of 15 hospitals in the group, with 14 already operational across 11 provinces.
