RATCH JOIN FORCES WITH PRINC TO EXPAND HEALTHCARE BUSINESS NATIONWIDE, ENHANCING THE COUNTRY’S PUBLIC HEALTH SYSTEM, ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTH SERVICE FOR PEOPLE

Mr. Kijja Sripatthangkura, Chief Executive Officer of RATCH Group Public Company Limited said that healthcare business in Thailand has significant long-term growth potential due to aging society and social behavior of health consciousness increasing, as well as COVID-19 pandemic as a catalyst for growing healthcare value chain; including medical care & wellness service, pharmaceutical business, nutritional supplements, medical supplies &  equipment, and medical & healthcare innovation and technology. In addition, the company considers that investment model of healthcare and power generation businesses are similar as it is capital intensive and time-taking for returns. More importantly, it is relevant to people’s daily life creating a positive impact on society and the economy as a whole. This assures that RATCH Group is readily prepared for managing risks and returns on investment wisely and efficiently.

Dr. Satit Viddayakorn (Ph.D.), Managing Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee, Principal Capital Public Company Limited said that the meaningful collaboration will lead us achieving 20 hospital target in 2022, increasing from current 11 hospitals located in 10 provinces, and expanding the primary care networks, known as gold card clinic, from current 13 clinics to 100 clinics nationwide by 2022.       

In addition, both RATCH and PRINC similarly view on growth trend of healthcare business, especially the elderly, which still has huge opportunities. They are ready for cooperation in technology and innovation development in aspects of health, clean energy and relevant areas in accordance with PRINC’s commitment. PRINC Suvarnabhumi Hospital Partners with Institut Jantung Negara to Enhance Cardiovascular Care in the Region

July 30, 2024 – PRINC Suvarnabhumi Hospital, part of Principal Healthcare and Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), a leading center for cardiovascular and thoracic care in Malaysia. This collaboration aims to elevate cardiovascular care standards in the region. A traditional Thai welcome was given to the IJN delegation by Athiwat Noiprasit, M.D., Assistant Managing Director of Principal Capital Public Company Limited., with representatives from both parties participating in the signing ceremony. SET joins hands with partners to launch the 4th year of Care the Whale: Zero Waste Station, extending waste sorting to multi-layer plastic

BANGKOK, April 17, 2024 – The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), in collaboration with Wat Chak Daeng, Saha Pathanapibul pcl (SPC), Osotspa pcl (OSP), and Principal Capital pcl (PRINC), has unwaveringly promoted environmental sustainability and enhanced quality of life for community dwellers in Khung Bang Kachao, Samut Prakan province through the “Care the Whale: the Zero Waste Station - Khung Bang Kachao” project held for the fourth consecutive year. The initiative is aimed to change behavior of people in the community to segregate waste at source. The waste separation effort this year will be extended to recyclable multi-layer plastic which is prolific and causes environmental problems. The project targets over 40 percent year-on-year increase in waste sent by the community for the separation process in 2024.

PRINC performs well in Q4. Revenue grows 12.6%, totaling 5,640 million baht in 2023. Number of patients - bed occupancy rate soared. In 2024, moving forward with hospital expansion, elderly care business and related medical businesses.

Principal Capital PCL. (PRINC), a company that operates private hospitals and healthcare businesses under the name Principal Healthcare, reported its Q4 2023 results with a total revenue of THB 1,523 million, an increase of 12.6% year-over-year (YoY). This brings the total revenue for the full year of 2023 to THB 5,640 million. Excluding COVID-19 related revenue, revenue for 2023 grew by 36.1%, driven by growth across all hospitals in the group. Currently, there are a total of 15 hospitals in the group, with 14 already operational across 11 provinces.
